While no two installations will be identical, the modular design makes it possible to take the ramp or half-step apart, down to its individual components, and reinstall it elsewhere in an identical or different configuration. Go Access Ramps and Steps provide an Environmentally Friendly Alternative

Adjusta Ramp and Adjusta Step installation compared to concrete ramp and half-step construction:

1. Go Access ramps and half-steps are re-usable.
2. One Adjusta Ramp or Adjusta Step can solve access issues for many users over its lifetime by being removed when not needed, broken down to its modules, and re-installed elsewhere.
3. Installation of the AdjustaRamps and Steps is quick and with minimal environmental impact.

Disadvantages of Concrete ramps:

1. Concrete ramps typically end up as landfill if and when removed.
2. Concrete is not very green. The production process for the main ingredient of concrete, Portland cement, produces half a tonne of CO2 per tonne of cement.
3. For every tonne of concrete product installed, an additional third of a tonne of CO2 is estimated to be produced in the transportation and installation process.
   
4. Approximately 7% of global CO2 emissions comes from cement production.
   
5. Removal of a concrete ramp is a challenging and dirty process, and produces noise pollution and air quality issues.
6. Significant CO2 production results from the removal process and shipment of the rubble.
